“A Breed Apart” narrative short, directed by Katie Damien - USA, 2010 - 6:45 min.
When two Pug dogs are
kidnapped, their only hope of rescue rests with a mutt that they have
snubbed. This movie strives to
teach equality and tolerance with the message that everyone is created equal
and we all deserve the same respect.
"The First Grader" narrative feature, directed by Justin Chadwick - UK, USA, Kenya, 2010 - 103 min.
In a small, remote mountain top primary school in the Kenyan bush, hundreds of children are jostling for a chance for the free education newly promised by the Kenyan government. One new applicant causes astonishment when he knocks on the door of the school. He is Maruge (Oliver Litondo), an old Mau Mau veteran in his eighties, who is desperate to learn to read at this late stage of his life. He fought for the liberation of his country and now feels he must have the chance of an education so long denied - even if it means sitting in a classroom alongside six-year-olds.

"Jumpa Jumpa" experimental, directed by Shannon Silva, USA, 2009 - 3 min.
Shot on B & W 16mm, hand-processed film and vibrant color video, “Jumpa Jumpa” is a musical love letter to the filmmaker’s firstborn child after years of infertility.

Too Saved is an inspirational and spiritually enlightening love story. Lisa is praying for her boyfriend to be saved. When her prayer is answered she finds out that it’s much more than she ever bargained for.
